Ben Pienaar is an award winning author of several horror novels. His debut novel, Holly and the Nobodies (published by Hellbound Books) won the Aurealis Award for Best Horror Novel 2021, soon followed by his self-published supernatural horror Carve Your Soul To Pieces, which won the same award again in 2024. He has also published a short story collection titled Peeping Eyes and Lipless Mouths (soon to be re-released with new cover and illustrations) and a Novella titled Dancing With The Gods.

He writes mostly supernatural urban gothic horror, but also likes to blend his unique brand of horror with other genres such as fantasy and sci-fi. His upcoming novel ‘No Clipper’ will be released at the end of 2026.
